The early days of civilization permitted our ancestors to produce at their level and forgave those who could not exceed the 'average' bar. Those days forgave humans for almost anything.
However, the game has been altered after 5,000+ years, and anyone producing at an average level in any field of endeavor will be severely punished. In fact, nature hates the production of any valuable commodity at an average level. That's why when we experience low rainfall in its season, there's a low harvest, because the crops have been affected—nature frowns at average.
What does that tell you?
Two groups of people exist on Earth:
The first are the "world" dominators.
The second are the "world" cheerleaders.
The first group of people is those who have mastered the ability to invest "time" and "attention" into a single activity and get so good at it that they become infinitely "irreplaceable."
These are the ones who'll command any technology that wants to replace them to work for them.
Inversely, the second group of people lacks the grit and discipline to focus their "attention" on a skill and get good at it. Instead, they have excuses for their laziness. They're the ones who cheer up the first group of elite players.
This group has been chewed and spat out. They are the ones who are treated as the average people in society, living from paycheck to paycheck, never knowing their next moves.
The world will reward those who have consistently delivered a high level of value to the marketplace, and this reward will come in the form of money, access to capital, premium information hidden from the masses, and high-net-worth individuals.
To curl your mind toward the right track, you have one job—deep work. Produce at an elite level. Get so good at your craft that the only one who can beat you is you.
Stay hard.
